This page explains how ordering garment trims from Metex works, from your first inquiry to delivery. We supply sewing factories, apparel and home-textile manufacturers, brands and designers in Bulgaria and abroad. The specific terms for each project are confirmed in our offer.
How ordering works
- Inquiry. Send us an inquiry through the website form or basket, call +359 893 740 707, message us on Viber/WhatsApp or email info@metex.bg. Tell us the item, size, colour, approximate quantity and your target date.
- Offer. We prepare an offer with the available options, terms and delivery time.
- Sample or prototype. Where needed – especially for logo, dyed or covered items – we make a sample for your approval.
- Confirmation. Once you approve the offer and sample, the order is confirmed.
- Production and delivery. We prepare or produce the items and deliver them to your factory or warehouse.
Delivery time
Delivery typically takes 10–15 days. Lead time depends on the product, the quantity and the level of customisation – logo work, dyeing to your shade or button covering all add time. We confirm the exact lead time in the offer so you can plan your production.
If you are working to a tight schedule, mention it in your inquiry and we will tell you what is realistic for that item.
Samples and sampling
We offer fast sampling so you can check colour, size and feel before you commit. A sample is particularly useful when you are:
- matching a trim to a specific fabric or garment colour;
- ordering a logo or custom-designed item;
- testing a new button, zipper or label for a collection.
Sampling terms are available on request.
Custom and logo orders
We produce trims with your logo – such as logo buttons, woven and cardboard labels made to your brief – and offer button dyeing, covering and engraving. To prepare an accurate offer and sample, please send us:
- your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG);
- the required sizes of the item and the logo;
- colours – ideally as Pantone references or a physical colour swatch;
- the garment type and fabric the trim is intended for.

OEKO-TEX® and GRS certificates
Our range includes products with OEKO-TEX® and GRS certificates:
- OEKO-TEX® – a certification system for textile products confirming they have been tested for harmful substances.
- GRS (Global Recycled Standard) – an international standard for products with recycled content that also covers responsible production requirements.
Not every item is certified. If your brand or customer requires certification, say so in your inquiry and we can confirm which items carry a certificate.
Delivery in Bulgaria and abroad
We deliver garment trims throughout Bulgaria and internationally. Shipping method and costs depend on volume and destination and are set out in the offer. For international orders, please include the country and delivery address in your inquiry.
Quantities and pricing
Prices and minimum quantities are available on request, as they depend on the model, material, size, quantity and customisation. We also accept small minimum quantities, which suits brands, designers and shorter runs as well as large manufacturers. Send us your order details and we will come back with a specific quote.
